Christopher Veeneman

I am an American-born (1963) expat living in Paris for the last 19 years.  I studied design at L’Ecole Boulle in Paris and work as a furniture and interior designer.  I have always been interested in graphic and fine arts as they have an influence on my design work.  In 2008 I began painting, oil on various surfaces or mixed media, ink and oils together. 

I am influenced by nature and organic forms and my paintings are a mix of figurative nature elements such as trees mixed with the abstract.  I tend to be moving towards more abstract subjects, experimenting with layering on surfaces such as Corian.
